Camera, media player and sensors
Camera setup
The device reports available cameras with ID, facing and capabilities. The setup assistant shows a preview and configures resolution, maximum width, FPS, JPEG quality and transport. In the default direct mode HA loads snapshot/MJPEG over pinned device HTTPS on the LAN. Tunnel mode uses short-lived authenticated streams for routed devices. camera.* proxies content; device address and camera access are not exposed publicly.
Android media player
The optional player is disabled by default. It supports URL/TTS, play, pause, stop, seek, volume, mute, position, metadata and cover and may be imported by Music Assistant. It runs with control channel, voice and camera in the foreground service even while the activity is not visible. Its output stays on Android’s media stream and therefore automatically follows a Bluetooth A2DP device connected in system settings. During media playback the app pauses an active wake-word session and releases HFP/SCO; it restarts wake word afterwards. This keeps music on A2DP instead of call quality.
Standard sensors
Enabled by default: battery, charging, power source, Wi-Fi signal, network/IP, active tab, online/last seen, app/Android version, uptime, storage, display geometry, screensaver, voice, camera and service status. Display data includes physical and usable width/height, current/natural orientation, density/DPI, font scale, activity content area and available insets.
Optional sensors
Available light, proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetic-field, pressure, humidity, temperature, rotation and step sensors are created disabled by default. Minimum intervals and change thresholds limit recorder and network load. Location/GPS is not requested.
